On Tuesday September 20th the 8th Grade Football Team battled the Uvalde Coyotes. The Panthers played tough but lost both games. The White Team Defense fought hard but Uvalde scored in the last few moments. Key defensive play from Noah Caldwell and an interception by Carlos Dominguez held the Coyote Offense. However Uvalde won 6-0. The Orange Team scored first on 40 yard completion from Sam Clendenin to Kaiden Hernandez and Mason Vogel booted in the PAT. The Coyotes quickly responded and the Panthers could not answer. Jordan Jasso intercepted a pass early in the game to give the Panthers new life but they still fell short 21-8. The Mighty Panthers will host Kerrville next Tuesday September 27th.
