8th Black Team Bandera Tournament
This weekend, the 8th grade Black team traveled to Bandera for their first tournament and took home 2nd place. The Panthers took on the Bandera Bulldogs in their first match. The team struggled a bit with communication, and fell to Bandera 12-25 in the first set and 18-25 in the second set. The second match was against Cole, and the panthers worked hard and came out on top after three sets with scores of 25-10, 19-25, and 15-6. The girls faced off against Comfort in the last match of the day. Working together and serving well, the Panthers dominated with scores of 25-13 and 25-8. Congratulations on 2nd place!

7th GRADE BLACK TEAM BANDERA TOURNEY
The 7th Grade girls Black Team traveled to Bandera on Saturday, Oct. 1st. They received 2nd in the team’s first tournament of the season. They did an amazing job as they came out swinging in each of their games. This was evident as they accumulated a total of 18 kills and 16 back row attacks. Great job girls!!!
1st Opponent: Won against Cole with the scores of: 25-14 and 25-10.
2nd Opponent: Lost against Bandera with the scores of: 22-25 and 17-25
3rd Opponent: Won against Comfort with the scores of: 19-25, 25-12 and 15-13.
