On Monday, December 12th, the Panthers 8A team hosted the Boerne Lady Hounds in a thrilling game. Despite a very defensive game played by both teams, the Panthers were able to maintain their 9 point lead throughout the first 3 quarters. In the 4th, however, the Lady Hounds came back strong and outscored the Panthers 13 points to our 6. Both teams battled, down to last 1 . 3 seconds as Mackenzee DeCock, on an inbounds play, launched the ball down the court to Emma Bauml, who caught the ball and went up for one last lay up as the clock ran out. The Panthers held on to their 2 point lead and came out with a hard earned victory and a final score of 30-28! Congratulations girls for coming out on top in a very hard fought game.

Last night the lady Panthers B team played against Boerne North. The girls won with a score of 21 - 19. The girls are 7 - 0 on the season. Great job ladies! Lady Panthers are back in action in Kerrville on January 5th.

Last night the Lady Panthers hosted the Lady Hounds in their last home game before winter break. The 7th grade A team played a disciplined game and pressured Boerne with a tough man-to-man defense. These efforts resulted in a 41-18 win, bringing their district record to 5-0. The girls will travel to Kerrville after the winter break. Go Panthers!

Monday night the 7B Lady Panthers took on their toughest team in the district, Boerne North, and came away with a hard earned victory. The team played a tough defense and had to work hard to break Boerne’s press. The teams were neck and neck until the 4th quarter when the Panthers mustered up the motivation to push back harder and come away with a win. Great job Lady Panthers, we are so proud of you!
